Camp Week

Both girls have been in sports camps all week with a friend.  I think it's been good to spend time with friends, be active and do something different.  It does make us appreciate our lazy mornings...it was hard to get up and get moving every day, pack a lunch and get out the door.

Jim took the girls and  friends to a University of Portland game Saturday.  They had a ball sitting in the front row cheering our two Oregon girls who play for Louisville. 

The Birthday Party

Today Maddie celebrated her birthday with some friends.  Last night it occurred to me that I should doublecheck that the ice skating rink was open to the public for skating this afternoon.  Well, lucky I checked, because the schedule had changed and NO public skating.

Yikes.  After a moment of panic, we found a different rink and moved onto Plan B.

Peyton helped pick up balloons this morning to make it festive.

Camp

Maddie traded in her lazy summer for a SUPER busy week.  In addition to the All Stars softball tournament every night, she went to Sports Plus day camp 9-4 every day.  She slept in today.  :)
